In our last post, we talked for a little bit about the Personal Year, Month and Day cycles. These are nine-day, nine-month, and nine-year cycles that represent various energies that are introduced into our lives. Some numbers may make better days/months/years for specific goals or decisions, or might caution against making such decisions. Your cycle is specific to your birth day and birth month. Your number will (or might) be different from someone elses.

There is another, more universal cycle that flows as well, though, and we of course call this the Universal Year/Universal Month/Universal Day cycle. These cycles are based off of the current calendar figures, and exert a subtle influence over everyone in existence. Overall, the effect of these cycles is generally considered to be small in comparison to more personal cycles. However, the influence is there.

We calculate the universal numbers simply by summing and reducing the calendar figures for whatever day, month or year is in question.

We thought it might be interesting to post this today because both the Universal Year and Universal Day numbers are both 9:

  • 2025 = 2+0+2+5 = 9
  • 27 = 2+7 = 9

What does this mean?

Much like the rest of numerology, these energetic influences are not set in stone. We still have personal agency and freedom. You still have the choice of how you live your life well within your hands. However, we feel less friction in our lives when we are moving with, not against, the other energetic influences based on our own personal numbers and cycles, as well as universal cycles.

We know that the number 9 is sort of the great humanitarian. It generally represents someone who is loving and empathetic, and always wants to see the world become a better place. It is the number of global awareness. The number 9 seeks to redress wrongs and injustices and abuse, but not to take credit for such an act. It just wants to see everyone loved and happy and equal.

As part of a cycle, though, the number 9 also has the connotation of finality, of bringing something to a close before we begin something new. It is a great day/year for putting old habits, old ideas, and old practices to bed.

I would contend that these universal numbers are not coincidental, and are a loving but stern reminder that we must seek to create a world that is more tolerant, open and loving. Not to compromise on the tenets of basic human decency, but to realize a world in which people feel safe and welcome, a world which celebrates our vast similarities rather than picking apart our seemingly small differences. A world which recognizes that diversity is strength.

Today we urge you to consider how you’re contributing to the global consciousness, and what impact that has. Whether you’re doing great, or not-so-great, we invite you to renew your commitment to making the world a better place.
